Microsoft Teams to increase simultaneous Videos in meetings

With the increased demand of video calls among people and companies, Microsoft Teams has decided to increase the number of people who can be viewed in the meeting at a time.

Why Limit Increased

Due to Corona virus outbreak there has been a spike in the usage of video conferencing platforms. Almost all the major companies in the world are working from home, as a result employees have to attend meetings over video calls.

Also people are under lockdown, due to which they need to talk to their loved ones. Talking over video call make people feel less isolated and keep them engaged, distracting them from the corona virus stress and chaos.

What is new Limit

Earlier, a maximum 4 people were allowed to be viewed in a conversation. Now the limit will be increased to 9 according to their official website.

This update is expected to be rolled out in the upcoming weeks. This has come as big bonus for Microsoft Teams’ users and will really be helpful during meetings.

What other Features Added

Microsoft will also be adding another feature through which participants will be able to raise hands during meetings. It will help in enabling smooth conversation and avoiding chaos during meetings. For more info click here
