Hard Refresh in Chrome, Firefox and IE

Sometimes we are not able to see the updated version of websites on our browser. This is because our browser has cache that webpage and is showing the old version of website. Even if we refresh the webpage with the reload button on browser it does not show the new version.

Hard Refresh is used in this situation. Hard refresh is used to clear the cache of webpage from the browser, so that we can see the newest version of webpage. Let us see how to hard refresh in various browsers :

  1. Press Ctrl+F5 to hard refresh.
  2. Or we can press Ctrl with reload button on browser.
